4-H Chick Chain

This project allows 4-H members to engage in hands-on experience in backyard poultry production. Due to the decrease in available chickens, Space is limited to the first 40 participants. You will get 10 female Black Star chicks. The chickens will arrive the week of May 13^th. From there, you will raise your chicks to show in the 4-H Chick Chain/ Livestock show held in the fall. After the show, the chicks are yours to keep. To participate, simply complete the form below and return it along with your payment to Stewart County Extension office. The deadline to sign up is Feb 16^th.
